Welcome to the unofficial Roche/454 Life Sciences support blog. I've started this blog to encourage sharing of information among researchers using the Roche/454 Life Sciences Genome Sequencer platform. I've been running a genomics facility at the University of South Carolina sine October 2007. Over the past year and a half, we've learned a lot of hard lessons with regards to optimizing the FLX chemistry. Now, we're in the midst of optimizing the Titanium chemistry. I'm going to post our discoveries, questions, protocols, new papers, and pontifications on this site for all to see and hopefully establish some dialogue to help us all out.
